The Life of Jesus:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." -Isaiah 9:6
Isaiah told people the good news of Jesus' birth before it even happened, but many people have not listened.
How can you "hear" the good news?
How can you "hear" the good news?
Science Explanation:
Seashells, your hand, paper towel tubes, and toilet paper rolls all catch the ambient sound in a room and amplify it, making it easier for you to hear. Sound takes longer to travel around some shapes than others, making a longer wavelength with a deeper sound. Does it sound like the ocean to you? It isn't "making" new sounds, but amplifying the sounds around you, making them easier to hear!
This is the lesson for Day 1 (of 25) in An Experiment to Remember, a kids advent calendar that uses science object lessons to discuss the life and teachings of Jesus.
